Technical basis used on this page
Strongest: Hamsa, Gajakesari, Saraswati-type, Moon–Venus Parivartana
Secondary: Pushkala, Amala, Ubhayachari, Vesi/Vasi, Rajalakshana
Dosha conclusion: no dominant Kaal Sarpa, Grahan, Guru Chandal or severe unmitigated Kemadruma
Independent audit from D1 degree/house data, D9 confirmation and classical Parashari/Jaimini principles.
Why we refused to count every printed "Raj Yoga" equally
Automated reports often create an impressive headline by counting every overlapping combination as a separate major promise. That is not how we evaluated this chart. We asked four questions: Is the classical condition genuinely present? How strong are the participating planets? Does the combination overlap with another yoga based on the same planets? Is it supported elsewhere?
Hamsa Mahapurusha — A++
This is the cleanest major yoga. Jupiter is a natural benefic in a Kendra (the Lagna) and in its exaltation sign Cancer. It is also nearly at the classical deep-exaltation degree. For Cancer Lagna, Jupiter carries 9th-lord dharma. This is why we treated Hamsa as the central yoga rather than merely one item in a list.
Gajakesari — A
Moon is in Libra and Jupiter is in Cancer, placing Jupiter in a Kendra relationship from the Moon. Because Jupiter is exceptionally strong, the combination has real weight. The D9 preserves a Moon–Jupiter Kendra relationship, which strengthens the thematic confidence: learning, perspective, social intelligence and capacity to recover through meaning.
Saraswati-type combination — A−
Mercury, Jupiter and Venus are together in the Lagna, with Jupiter exalted and Mercury later reinforced by Vargottama status. Classical Saraswati definitions vary by school, so we did not pretend the label is mechanically identical everywhere. But the underlying substance — learning, language, knowledge, refinement and communication — is genuinely powerful.
Moon–Venus Parivartana — A−
Moon in Venus's Libra and Venus in Moon's Cancer create a direct 1st/4th exchange. Whether someone wants to market it as a "Raj Yoga" is less important than the structural fact: identity, home, emotional security, education and aesthetics are deeply intertwined.
Pushkala, Amala, Ubhayachari, Vesi/Vasi, Rajalakshana — useful but secondary
These combinations add support, especially to visibility, conduct and benefic influence around the Sun/Moon. We kept them in the analysis, but refused to let them inflate the overall assessment. The chart does not need eleven separate royal labels to be strong.
Kemadruma: preliminary condition, then cancellation
The 2nd and 12th from the Moon are empty of classical planets, so a preliminary Kemadruma-style condition can be noticed. But stopping there would be technically irresponsible.
There are strong cancellation/mitigation factors: planets occupy Kendras from the Moon, including Mercury, exalted Jupiter and Venus in Cancer, which is 10th from the Libra Moon. The Moon itself is in a Kendra from Lagna, and it participates in the Moon–Venus exchange. Therefore we rejected the idea of a severe, isolated Kemadruma outcome.
Kaal Sarpa — rejected
A genuine Kaal Sarpa assessment requires all classical planets to fall within the nodal axis. The Libra Moon lies outside the enclosure. Therefore we did not diagnose Kaal Sarpa.
Grahan — rejected
There is no natal Sun–Rahu/Ketu or Moon–Rahu/Ketu conjunction in D1 that would justify a standard eclipse-yoga diagnosis.
Guru Chandal — rejected in D1
Jupiter and Rahu are not conjunct in D1. They do join in some divisional charts, which we interpreted only within those specific varga topics; we did not retroactively label the natal Jupiter "Guru Chandal afflicted."
Shrapit — no strong classical Saturn–Rahu conjunction
Saturn is in Pisces and Rahu in Aquarius. There is no D1 conjunction.
Pitra Dosha — no strong classical case
The 9th lord Jupiter is exalted and aspects its own 9th house, where Saturn sits under Jupiter's influence. That is not the architecture we would use to declare a dominant ancestral curse. D12 later supported a lineage of discipline, education and transformation rather than a fear-based Pitra-Dosha story.
Sade Sati — transit, not natal defect
Sade Sati is a future Saturn transit relative to the natal Moon. It is not a permanent flaw encoded at birth. It should be interpreted when the transit actually occurs, with contemporary Dashas and transits, rather than used to frighten the family now.
